Not all social media platforms will have the right audience for your business.
Don’t just use Snapchat because everyone says it’s the latest thing, or use Facebook because you’re comfortable with it.
Identify your ideal customer, and find out what social media platform you’re most likely to find them on.
Most of the readily available research is on US audiences, but this Ofcom report has some good UK data that will help. The social media section starts on p52, and has useful charts like this:
